Congratulations Jessika Parish of Boca Ciega High School for being the first weeks winner!
She was nominated and has been chosen as the winner this week. Jessika has devoted much of her time and energy to her students, including rearranging her family vacation (including her spouse and 4 children under 10) to get valuable educational materials on the civil rights movement from the museum in Tennessee. She has spent countless hours couponing and rebating her classroom, combing for class sponsors and donors, and talking to parents of students at her school (not her students). She is the club sponsor for Interact, and the Future Educators of America, and her positive attitude is infectious.
